Carl Griffiths – Family Support Worker
I was very impressed at how Participation People use visual aids and fun games to elicit responses from people, including us. It still ticked all the right boxes but gave ownership and a sense of fun to participants in their training courses.
Though I’ve been shown creative ideas in the past, their sessions reawakened my creative side, which I think had been eroded by too many years of statutory services and fixed systems!
The training session reminded me that participants should get something out of it too!
The Social Media training was also very helpful. It opened my dinosaur mind to the potential of Social Media. Though this is about six months away for me, it made me realise that it is a very good form of ‘word of mouth’ advertising.
