In 2023 we’ve reached a key milestone: our first Impact Report.
We’ve taken this as an opportunity to recognise our biggest year yet in helping organisations make better, more reliable decisions, with young people involved at every step.
- Gen Z currently make up around 15% of the UK population, yet they held 22% spending power in 2020 – a fast-growing share that is expected to rise to almost 30% by 2030 (Clearpay, 2021).
- And, as more young people enter the workforce, Gen Z is set to become the largest generation within the working population.
This demographic shift brings a critical need for businesses to better understand the needs of young people, and embrace new perspectives and ideas.
From 2022 to 2023, Participation People have assisted both brands and organisations in adopting modern approaches for effectively gathering insights from young people and tailoring processes to suit their unique preferences and needs.
This year has been both challenging and transformative for our clients, young people, and Participation People Team, striving to create future-ready services, brands, and staff teams that truly understand and incorporate youth insights.
